| Budo Taijutsu is not a sport. We don't participate in tournaments, although we do travel the country participating in and leading seminars. Along with historical teachings we also deal with modern application. Ex. carjacking, planejacking, guns, and muggings and the like. We begin learning weapons as soon as we start training since our taijutsu (body movement) are applicable to both unarmed and armed self-defense. Some of these weapons are historical and some are modern. They include: 1. Various sizes of staves and walking stick 2. Jutte 3. Sword and knives 4. HandGun 5. Baton 6. Kubotan 7. Improvised weapons 8 .Shuriken and other throwing weapons |
